The products we develop generally require customisation. All products and designs are the property of our customers. Our product range shows configurations from items consisting of a few parts to complex bulky tubing systems. Our bag range starts at as small as 2 ml and comprises bags up to the largest 3-dimensional container bag to date of 1,500 litres.

Multi-chamber
For pharmaceutical companies worldwide we have developed two chamber bags and three chamber bags. These chambers are separated by a ‘weak’ seal. The fluids stay separated until the moment the bag will be used in the hospital. At that moment the weak peelable seal will be broken and the fluids will be mixed.

For the bags for biopharmaceutical processing various materials can be applied, with the most common contact layers being LDPE and EVA. Regarding the bag connections, we can deliver all options, from tubes or moulded connectors between the sheets to connectors facing upwards.
- Big bags, large container bags
The big bags from 50 up to 1,500 litres are produced in many specifications. They can be 2-dimensional or 3-dimensional and they all have their specific requirements regarding connections and drains. By means of equipment especially designed for leak-testing of large bags, the integrity of each single bag can be determined.
Disposable bioreactors
The disposable factory in biopharmaceutical processing is gaining ground. Many market parties put effort into the development of disposable bioreactors, trying to realise competitive advantage. Medistad is involved in several developments and in some cases the concepts seem to be revolutionary.
Medical devices
In addition to the delivery of product parts, we also develop and manufacture complete medical devices. Our customers own the intellectual property and take care of the sales, marketing and distribution, while Medistad takes care of the manufacturing and supports new developments.
